Livingstone Island Rock Pool

Rock Pool Livingstone Island

On Livingstone Island, one of the rock pools at the edge of  The Victoria Falls has been opened to visitors on August 1st.
You can now swim once again in a natural rock pool just before the water of the Zambezi  plunges down over the edge, a most thrilling experience.

The water level in the Zambezi has dropped very fast and is still going down.
By the end of this month swimming in the very famous Devil’s Pool will most likely be possible again as well. (Have a look at our blog October 2010)
