The African Queen turns ten

Livingstone’s well known and much loved African Queen celebrated her tenth birthday earlier this month.

The triple deck, 70ft catamaran was launched in 2001 by Daan Brink of Livingstone’s Adventures (see ‘Daan Brink – Livingstone’s True Adventurer’ under Previous Posts, February 2011).  Since then thousands of people have enjoyed a magical sunset cruise back in time on board the gracious river boat. Many, many photographs of unforgettable sunsets on the Zambezi have been taken from her decks.

Zambezi sunsets will stay forever etched in your mind

Furnished with Zambezi Teak, Beech Wood and brass finishes the African Queen accommodates a total of 120 guests. She is also available for private functions and conferences. Full bars on the lower and upper decks offer a selection of cocktails and iced drinks and an on board galley serves delicious snacks and meals. The ‘Captain’s Cabin’ is an exclusive and private venue on board.

A breakfast or sunset cruise is an absolute essential item on the list of Things to Do in Livingstone! For further info email
